Transfer Students
Mitchell College welcomes students who wish to transfer from other accredited colleges and universities. The "typical" transfer student applying to Mitchell College has an average GPA of 2.70 and has completed 30 credits.

Transfer students are eligible to transfer in at freshman, sophomore or junior year. |
|
Transfer credit is granted for courses in which a grade of "C-" or better was earned. These courses must meet the requirements of the curriculum satisfying either a requirement or an elective. |
|
Transfer students must complete a minimum of 30 credits at Mitchell for an associate degree and 30 credits at Mitchell for a bachelor degree. |

Transfer applicants should complete the Application for Admission to Mitchell College, as well as submit the following information:

Personal Statement: Please respond to the following question in at least 500 words. If you receive help editing your work, please describe the help you received and by whom.

Mitchell College is made up of a small, close-knit and caring community of faculty, staff and students. Everyone takes great pride in welcoming new students to the campus and assisting them in becoming acclimated to their new environment. In addition to a comprehensive orientation program, transfer students meet with their Academic Advisor to assist in course selection and other academic matters, as well as the Registrar.
